I love to share resources with people but often can't remember the names of programs or I find that I don't have the time to look them back up. I've struggled with ways to organize the contacts. So, this list will be random but it's a new attempt and work in progress. Most of the resources will be listed in relation to the county that I reside in but please research resources in your area if these are too far for you.
Please also feel free to share this page and suggest additions to this page. Many of the resources have been taken from other "group" pages. So, I will list those organizations at the bottom.
I discovered 211Virginia after I created this page, so I will start with it because it is a searchable database of resources in Virginia! It's driven by Social Services and United way, etc. Awesome!!

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
