A Bedtime Story | Birmingham, AL

Hi Pookies!

I don't know if you remember the construction at the airport from the last pictures but the dirt piles have grown!

There were a lot more tractors but it was hard to get a picture with a lot of them in it.

We met a really nice lady that worked on the plane. Her name was Helene.
I hate that I didn't get her picture.
When I told her that I was saving my snacks for you, she went and got 3 pins for each of you to put on your jackets.

These are the cute ladies that I went with.

It's funny how you mention a little word like Ebola or airplane and people start breaking out wipes...

This plane was pretty big.
You can't even see the back. Each row is 3 seats wide on both sides.

And they have TVs in the ceiling.
Count how many you see.
That is just what is in front of me. There are more behind me.

This was a crazy boat that I saw in a magazine.
Tell daddy to click this link "seabreacher boats" to see more cool pictures.
No you can't have one! haha

Ethan, there were motorcycles on display in the airport.

This one is an old Harley. I'd ride it.

There is Starbucks in my hotel room. That's exciting.

This is the view. -Not as exciting.

I am on the 16th floor. Look at the picture from the hallway.

Here's Crystal and you-know-who...

This video is for you Jaxie.
There are 3 trees outside of the hotel and they are full of birds singing.
I doubt you can hear them very well. You won't be able to see the birds at all.
We couldn't see them in the trees either.
But I know that you would love it if you were here.

(UPDATE - It looks like it might not play on the ipad. I will see if I can text it to Daddy.)

Sophie look at this BIG PINK BUILDING just for you!

This is where my conference will be the next few days.

They served veggies just the way we like to eat them!
-with our fingers!

Can you tell me what is wrong with this picture below?

I know that the pictures aren't as exciting as last time.
But I want you to know that I miss you ALL every where I go.
I always look out for things that I think you'd like.

No matter what-
my favorite part of today was eating breakfast with a bunch of monkeys.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 says that "The end of a matter is better than the beginning..."
While you all gave me the perfect start, you will also get to finish it!
When I return to you at the end of the trip, that will definitely be the best part of it!

Hug and kiss each other LOTS for me.
Then for each other. It's good for ya.
Do you ever notice how Daddy's whiskers tickle?
I like that!

I love all 4 of you!
